Blepharoplasty of the upper and/or lower eyelids will involve the removal of excess skin and bulging fat bags.
A younger appearance with well hidden scars will be the result of blepharoplasty.
Excess skin of the upper eyelids can be attributed to lower eyebrow position.
Sometimes it’s a combination of the two.
The procedure can be performed under local or general anaesthesia, on an outpatient basis. The procedure will usually take 1.5-2.5 hours.
Bruising and swelling will gradually reduce during the first and second week.
Sutures will be removed during the first week.
